This homemade strawberry sauce is unbeatable. It only requires three simple ingredients (plus one secret ingredient) and counts as one of the easiest strawberry sauce recipes ever. Whether you pour it over dessert or scoops of vanilla ice cream in a bowl, this strawberry sauce will delight children and adults alike.
Hull ½ pound strawberries and discard any rotten ones. Rinse them thoroughly, especially if they contain residual dirt or sand. Let the washed strawberries drain.
Place the strawberries and 2 Tablespoons powdered sugar in a tall container. Using an immersion blender, blend them into a strawberry puree.
Season the strawberry sauce with 1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice and ⅛ teaspoon black pepper. Stir well and serve. Easy!
