Czech Brambory na loupačku Recipe

1 ¼ pounds raw potatoes ⅓ stick unsalted butter at room temperature salt 4 ounces fresh cheese parsley greens optional
Boil 1 ¼ pounds raw potatoes with the skin on in a pot of water for about 20 minutes, depending on their size.
Carefully drain the water and place the potatoes in a bowl.
Prepare ⅓ stick unsalted butter and salt for serving. Place 4 ounces fresh cheese in a bowl and garnish it with a chopped parsley greens , if desired.
The basic recipe makes about 3 portions.
Use potatoes of roughly the same size so that they cook evenly.
Brambory na loupačku recipe is ideal as a quick meatless dinner for the whole family.
SERVING:
Place the bowl of boiled potatoes with the skin on in the center of the table.
Prepare a plate for each person.
Place a few slices of butter and a small pile of salt on the plate.
Each person takes a potato from the plate and peels it with a knife.
Take the peeled potato in your hand, press it lightly into the pile of salt, and use the knife to spread the butter over it.
Alternatively, you can spread a small amount of cream cheese on the potato.
The potato prepared in this way is then eaten in small bites.
